Finca Tres Robles, located in Houston’s historic 2nd Ward, is the first privately operated farm within the 610 loop. We believe in the importance of making organically grown fruits and vegetables accessible to individuals and families on the East Side and have spent the last three (3) years transforming a long-time vacant lot into a productive and inclusive space that serves our immediate community. We believe that that small places matter and with commitment, purpose, and passion their impacts reach far beyond their borders.

The menu will be developed and prepared by Chef Jason Kerr. Jason has been working in restaurant’s for 25 years 17 of those have been in Houston. After graduating from an underground culinary school in Austin TX in the 90’s ChefJason Kerr moved to Houston and worked with Monica Pope, Tim Keating and Lance Fegan before making a name for himself running kitchens like Zula, Café Rabelais, the food truck Zilla Street Eats and Lowbrow. Jason Kerr is known for his local centric take on lowfi American comfort food and knows how to have fun in the kitchen while supporting local farms and ranches.

Dessert will be prepared by Becca Reyenga, Owner of Eat My Pralines, a Houston-based business born from a family recipe for pecan pralines. Started in 2015 after seeing the mass appeal and demand for her mom’s homemade pralines, this small food business fulfills a dream of Becca’s and is made even sweeter by being very much a family business.

Sigma Brewing Co. will be providing their local craft beer for the dinner. Located less than 3 mile from La Finca, these fellow East Enders are a bunch of “regular dudes” that share a passion for beer. “Sigma, to us, means that brewing is the summation of our lives, and sharing it with others is what has made us whole.” We’re excited they’re brewing so close and grateful they’re always ready and willing to share. (Wine will also be available)

We hope to see all of you out at the farm to celebrate this milestone with us. Space is limited, so get your tickets today. Ticket sales will benefit the mission and work of Finca Tres Robles.
