“I wanted to help at Finca Tres Robles because I thought it would be a great way to help residents continue to get access to fresh, local produce while supporting urban farming.”

“From the short time I’ve been involved, what I found to be most fulfilling was speaking with and listening to the delivery recipients. It makes me really look forward to getting to know them more and creating strong community bonds. A strong, connected community can move mountains!”

WHAT DOES COMMUNITY MEAN TO YOU?

“To me, community is when neighbors come together to support and lift each other. It’s the pooling of knowledge, skills, abilities, and resources in order to work together towards building a place where people can live as free and happy as possible.”

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT AT THE FARM?

“I enjoy creative endeavors such as cross stitching, watercolor painting, and singing. I also enjoy taking care of my houseplants and rat terrier, Teddy. When the weather permits, I like being outside birdwatching, practicing my French, and occasionally climbing a tree.”
