Feeding End East Families
At Small Places, we care deeply about our neighborhood because it’s our home, and the people here are our neighbors. We believe that everyone deserves access to the best food—especially those who may not have the means to do so. Over the last decade, we’ve seen that we’re not alone in this belief; our community shares this vision, and together, we’ve been able to make a meaningful impact.
This holiday season, we want to spotlight these two vital community programs central to our mission:
Neighborhood Produce Program
Every two weeks, we deliver fresh, nutritious food—produce, eggs, meats, grains, and more—to 63 households, serving 171 individuals. For many of these families, access to healthy food is a daily challenge, and your support helps ensure they can gather around the table with nourishing meals.
Pre-K Produce Program
In addition to NPP, we’re proud to serve 30 households through our Pre-K Produce Program. This program delivers fresh food directly to the Ninfa Laurenzo Early Childhood Center, ensuring our youngest community members get the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.
Neighborhood Food Distributions
2024 marks our 5th year running the Neighborhood Produce Program thanks to your generosity and ongoing commitment to our farm!
