A mi abuela le encantaban las remolachas y, cuando era ni\u00f1a, siempre quise que me gustaran, pero nunca me gust\u00f3. Ahora, como adulto, los disfruto y soy el feliz receptor de su poder antioxidante. Su superpoder no es s\u00f3lo su capacidad de proteger contra el estr\u00e9s oxidativo (estr\u00e9s... \u00bf\u00bfpandemia???) sino que tambi\u00e9n son una buena forma de vitamina C. La fuerza inmune depende de buenas reservas de vitamina C.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Por lo tanto, prepare un frasco de remolachas en escabeche y disfr\u00fatelas como condimento en sus comidas o acomp\u00e1\u00f1elas con una ensalada. La receta requiere 2 libras de remolacha. Cubra la bandeja para hornear con papel de aluminio y coloque las remolachas en una sola capa.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">2. Roc\u00ede con aceite de oliva y sazone con sal y pimienta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">3. Envuelva bien las remolachas con papel de aluminio.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">4. Hornee en el horno a 375\u00baF durante unos 60 minutos hasta que est\u00e9n tiernos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">5. Retirar del horno, abrir el papel de aluminio con cuidado y dejar enfriar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">6. Una vez que las remolachas se hayan enfriado al tacto, p\u00e9lelas y c\u00f3rtelas en trozos peque\u00f1os y col\u00f3quelas en un frasco Mason limpio de un cuarto de gal\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">7. En una cacerola mediana a fuego medio, mezcle los ingredientes l\u00edquidos hasta que se combinen: agua, vinagre, az\u00facar, sal y pimienta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">8. Vierta la mezcla en un tarro Mason sobre las remolachas; cubra y refrigere durante varias horas o toda la noche para que se absorban los sabores.
