C\u00f3mo nuestro mundo agr\u00edcola no se desacelera y se detiene durante cuatro a seis meses al a\u00f1o como la mayor parte del resto del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Mucha gente comenta que Houston b\u00e1sicamente puede crecer durante todo el a\u00f1o y, si bien eso es cierto, tambi\u00e9n conlleva otras realidades que son menos obvias y agradables. Como lo que sucede si tomas una temporada de crecimiento de seis meses y la extiendes durante doce meses. Crea nuevas estaciones y ventanas de crecimiento a lo largo del a\u00f1o que son diferentes y distintas de cualquier otro lugar. Tres meses de calor extremo entre junio y agosto, donde hay pocas verduras reconocibles, si es que hay alguna, y luego de noviembre a febrero, donde no tenemos mucho m\u00e1s que verduras y hortalizas de ra\u00edz.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00bfY cu\u00e1ndo dejas de crecer y te tomas un descanso?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Muchos de nuestros visitantes y clientes se sienten desconcertados, al menos inicialmente, con nuestras ofertas de temporada. Decepcionado por lo que podr\u00eda no estar disponible en ese momento. A m\u00ed me encanta eso de crecer en Houston. Aprender temporada tras temporada y a\u00f1o tras a\u00f1o lo que Houston ES agr\u00edcolamente, independientemente de lo que queremos o esperamos que sea. Llevo esperando desde abril volver a tener mis coles y col china en mi dieta y aqu\u00ed estar\u00e1 unos meses m\u00e1s. Es como ver a un buen amigo que ha estado ausente por un tiempo y que pronto volver\u00e1 a irse.
