Nuestra proximidad a la costa significa que, afortunadamente, casi nunca vemos temperaturas por debajo de los 20 grados. Plantamos durante el invierno, mayoritariamente templado, y protegemos nuestros cultivos de las heladas cuando es necesario. Depender de una buena protecci\u00f3n contra heladas y de la suerte parece ayudarnos a pasar el invierno. Si bien todo se ralentiza significativamente una vez que las temperaturas est\u00e1n por debajo de los 60 grados todos los d\u00edas, de modo que una hilera de remolachas pasa 120 d\u00edas en el campo en lugar de 80, eso es un inconveniente menor. Las personas que son nuevas en el cultivo en Houston podr\u00edan pensar que es demasiado arriesgado seguir cultivando durante el invierno, \u00a1pero correr\u00edamos mucho m\u00e1s riesgo si dej\u00e1ramos de plantar y sembrar!<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Todo esto quiere decir que tenemos mucho m\u00e1s reservado en la pr\u00f3xima temporada de invierno de CSA, comenzando con el nuevo a\u00f1o. En los pr\u00f3ximos meses, cosecharemos m\u00e1s lechuga, c\u00edtricos, escarola, remolacha, cebolla verde, puerro, bok choy, r\u00e1banos y nabos, hinojo, perejil, espinacas, zanahorias, colinabo morado, col rizada rusa, cilantro, y m\u00e1s de nuestras deliciosas verduras asi\u00e1ticas como misome y mizuna. \u00a1Estamos ansiosos por compartirlos contigo! Me ha impresionado mucho el rendimiento de algunas de las variedades esta temporada, como los nabos hakurei y el bok choi enano, y espero con ansias ver m\u00e1s el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Soy muy optimista sobre la pr\u00f3xima temporada de CSA porque la granja tiene un aspecto fant\u00e1stico en este momento. Parece que estamos viviendo una verdadera temporada de oto\u00f1o y a todos los cultivos les encanta: est\u00e1n creciendo r\u00e1pida, plena y hermosamente, superando mis expectativas. S\u00e9 que las temperaturas eventualmente bajar\u00e1n y que el crecimiento se desacelerar\u00e1, pero el fr\u00edo solo agregar\u00e1 un toque de dulzura a todas nuestras verduras.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u00a1No querr\u00e1s perderte este CSA de invierno de 2020!
