Small Places is developing a Food Access model to overcome the numerous barriers to accessing fresh food that members of our community experience. Our Farm Store provides an integrated solution by meeting people where they are and implementing multiple programs, offerings, and outlets to increase the capacity and avenues for all members of our neighborhood to be healthy.<\/p>\n

Neighborhood Food Access (NFA)<\/b><\/h1>\n

Every two weeks, we deliver fresh, nutritious food\u2014produce, eggs, meats, grains, and more\u2014to 66 households, serving 214 individuals<\/strong>. For many of these families, accessing healthy food is a daily challenge. Your support ensures they can gather around the table with nourishing, home-cooked meals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through our Food Prescription Program<\/strong>, created in partnership with St. Mary\u2019s Clinic<\/strong> and El Centro de Coraz\u00f3n<\/strong>, we serve local residents living with diet-related chronic illnesses. By providing access to fresh produce and nutrition resources right here at the farm, we\u2019re helping our community members take control of their health\u2014one meal at a time.<\/span><\/p>\n
