Gracias a todos nuestros amigos, vecinos y seguidores cercanos y lejanos que se han acercado a nosotros durante las \u00faltimas semanas y estamos muy agradecidos por los pensamientos y la preocupaci\u00f3n durante estos tiempos dif\u00edciles en nuestra gran ciudad. Si bien tuvimos algunas p\u00e9rdidas de cultivos, no sufrimos ning\u00fan da\u00f1o importante a otra infraestructura agr\u00edcola y deber\u00edamos poder recuperarnos y volver a la normalidad este oto\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, hay agricultores en toda la costa del Golfo que no tuvieron tanta suerte. Gundermann Acres - Alivio de Harvey<\/h3>\n

Acres de Gundermann<\/strong> es una granja de hortalizas de 500 acres en Wharton, Tx. Garrett, cuarta generaci\u00f3n de productores de Gundermann, dirige actualmente la granja familiar y es miembro desde hace mucho tiempo de la comunidad productora de alimentos local del \u00e1rea de Houston. Recientemente, junto con muchos otros a lo largo de la costa de Texas, se han visto afectados por una de las peores inundaciones en la historia de Estados Unidos. La tormenta y las inundaciones del r\u00edo Colorado cubrieron completamente su granja, en algunos lugares hasta 10 pies, lo que provoc\u00f3 que perdieran todo lo que hab\u00eda en la granja, incluida su casa.
